Table Manners

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

For the very first time we all ate as a family around the table. Amelia wasn’t too pleased about sitting in her high chair and would slump to one side or another but it was fun to watch.

She’s also becoming more adept at nearly-crawling which involves shuffling around and rolling over to eventually get where she wants to be, which are usually places she’s not allowed to be or chasing Bingo.

She now weighs 16lbs 1oz and is a little over two feet long/tall. Mummy and Daddy are losing weight too preparing for their Meditteranean cruise.

More Holiday Snaps

This is a filler blog whilst Daddy is busy rewriting the scripts to cope with videos – ooh how exciting.

The pic is of course Amelia and Daddy looking all windswept in St Ives. On the life front we seem to have taken a step backwards as Amelia is now adamant that she wants to sleep in bed with us. In the past she was sleeping for the whole night on her own – it all went wrong after the holidays and Emma and I are too soft to nip it in the bud.

Woe is us.

Milly at Goonhilly

So the Steele family have returned from their first ever holiday. Wisely managing to pick St Ives in what has become the wettest June in the UK since records began. We did have a few sunny days which allowed Amelia to feel the sand between her toes and she also managed to dip her toes into the Atlantic.

Since we were holidaying in the UK we were prepared for the rain with lots of educational day trips for errrr Daddy. The picture above is Amelia in her new raincoat at Goonhilly

We managed to take 133 pictures in total so that should keep us in blogs for a while.

It’s good to be home :)
