Little monkey
Amelia, Em and I spent a morning at the Monkey Park looking at well, monkeys really, but there were also parrots, jaguars and for some bizarre reason an awful lot of guinea pigs.
It was a great day and we were able to walk through several monkey cages where we could feed the monkeys nuts and bread. The monkeys were clambering over our shoulders and eating food out of our hands which was great fun. Unfortunately, towards the end of our monkey feeding session one of the little monkeys decided it fancied Amelia’s dummy. He or she ate the food out of Emma’s hand and then ran around her shoulders to where Amelia was and snatched the dummy from her mouth before scampering up into the trees. You’ve never heard screaming like it, from Amelia that is!
Mummy jumped into consoling Amelia mode whilst Daddy took off in hot pursuit with the camera to record the incident for posterity. The results are above.
