When chickens attack
This is the very chicken that Amelia launched at Mummy with a full power throw from very short range. I’m not sure if she was actually aiming to hit Mummy square in the forehead or if it was just sheer luck but this plastic chicken made a resounding thunk as it smacked into Emma. Stunned silence filled the room for a second before Mummy looked very annoyed and Daddy told Amelia she’d been a very very naughty little girl.
The whole escapade resulted in Amelia spending five minutes in the slammer which is the term for sitting on her bed in her bedroom with the door closed and her not being allowed to play with anything. After this she said sorry and kissed Mummy and life was back to normal except for the lump on Mummy’s head.
