BBQ Season begins

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

Our first barbecue invite of the year came from Ian. Milly moo very much enjoyed eating her barbecue food whilst Ian told jokes from www.deadmichaeljacksonjokes.com. Very civilised

Play date in the sand pit

Amelia and Jake playing nicely in the sand pit. They’ve both just woken up so much grumpiness in the air

A rare visit to McDonalds for Milly Moo after our first ever family visit to splash world. The slides are ace for daddy but it will be a few years before Amelia can go down them.

Em says Amelia looks deranged in this picture. I think she looks lovely

Trafford Centoh

Amelia and Mummy with a bit of an action shot from the play centre in the Trafford centre. A great place that lets the parents go on the climbing frames and slides. Excellent fun

A fine rendition – it’s apparent to all that she has inherited her parents’ musical talents!

Milly moo and Charlie Farley

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Amelia and her cousin Charlie took a trip over to Wales [ rather them than me ] and ended up at Green Acres Farm.  I think a good time was had by all, even though they had to go to Wales, but it seems the high point of Amelia’s day was trying to find various ways of stealing Charlie’s ice lolly.

Fun in the sun

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

Every now and then the sun shines down on our little part of Northern England.  Even more infrequently it coincides with a half term holiday for Emma.  This was one such occasion.

Amelia insisted on getting everything out of the shed so the garden is strewn with tents, wendy houses, paddling pools and trampolines.  It’s flippin chaos!

Also, in case you’re wondering about all the missing pies….you can’t blame Em, she is of course 7 months pregnant with our second child, current working names are Olivia or Henry.  It’s all TBD.
