Uncle Jaz came to visit and adopted his best “I’m going to steal your child” look!

For those of you that don’t know Jaz he’d be the chubby one with no hair…ahh, yes, that could be confusing. Errr, he’s the one with the stripey shirt.

Ladies and Gentlemen

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Amelia went to the circus recently with Mummy, Nana Dawn and Charlie. Mummy described it as the Phoenix Nights of circus troops and wasn’t overly impressed. Amelia on the other hand seems to now have ambitions to be a ring master or an acrobat or something.

First bath for Oliver

In a move that I’m pretty sure will get me battered by my little boy in years to come I thought I’d show you Oliver having his first bath. As you can see he wasn’t that keen, but neither was Amelia when she first got in. Now we have to drag Amelia kicking and screaming from the bath, I’m sure it’ll be the same for Oli soon.

Poor Bingo

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

I’m always taken back to the images of Calvin [ of Calvin and Hobbes fame ] when we ask Amelia to smile for the camera. I don’t think she deliberately pulls funny faces, I think she just believes the idea of smiling is to show your teeth. Either way – classic set of pictures of Amelia with her baby brother Oliver.

This blog has now become the place where the happenings of both Amelia and her new baby brother, Oliver, will be showcased. He arrived on Saturday 8th August 2009 weighing a healthy 8lbs 2.5oz. Mother, baby, sister and father are all doing well.

Kite flying

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

We all had a jolly family day out at Worden Park in Leyland. It’s a fantastic park and Amelia flew her very first kite. You’ll have to excuse the dodgy cinematography. Stick to teaching Mummy, I don’t think Spielberg has anything to worry about just yet.
