Amelia Poppy and Oliver James Steele

We had a great breakthrough yesterday when Grandad John, Nana Pat, Daddy, Cousin Charlie and Amelia went to Splashworld in Southport. Amelia, with the help of her life jacket thingy with the floats on managed to swim across the pool. After an initial bit of reluctance there was just no stopping her! She swam around the lazy river, she swam into the nozzle of water stuff and she screamed like a banshee when I swam her through the waterfall. The waterfall was maybe a step too far.

So because the world is apparently full of weirdos we couldn’t take a picture of her swimming. So here is one of her eating a cheese and home made chutney cracker.

You’ll have to turn your head to one side to watch this as Mummy seems to be going through a phase of taking portrait movies and then expecting Daddy to somehow sort it out. Well, like opur work shy postal operatives I’m going on strike.
