Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Amelia getting the hang of doing the wheelbarrow thing, roll on sports day when this early training will pay dividends, assuming we haven’t all moved to some namby pamby nanny state where children aren’t allowed to compete and everybody gets an award for “trying their best”…oh hang on…

A breakthrough in feeding

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Amelia never did this! Even when she was old enough to understand us saying hold it yourself; she never would.

Oliver on the other hand is an instant success at self feeding which is great. It means Mummy and Daddy can get on with making breakfast whilst Oliver feeds himself his milk. Marvellous.

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

I’m not entirely sure what Amelia is up to here but I suspect it’s a sight I’ll get used to as she reaches her teenage years…”Dad, can I have some money for err sweets or something”

My little boy has started crawling

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

The easy life is over now that Oliver is crawling around and generally grabbing everything he shouldn’t have. Wires, drinks cabinet, phones and all sorts is now his personal property. Oh dear.

Amelia and the carousel

Friday, June 11th, 2010

After a very frustrating hour or so at Gullivers World when Amelia said “No” to everything she eventually plucked up the courage to have a go on some of the rides. The first ride she took to was the carousel above. She subsequently went on the Carousel horses, the Carousel horse that moved, the Carousel horse upsatirs and another Carousel horse a bit later. After this there was no stopping her. Log Flume, Haunted House, Aeroplanes, Tea Cups, Cars, Trains and Planes. The list was endless.

She had a good day. As did Mummy, Daddy and Oly Bolly.
