Amelia Poppy and Oliver James Steele

We had a nice “long” ride today and Amelia pedalled most of the way herself. She had to be pushed back for the last few hundred metres. Very enjoyable…next stop London to Brighton.

For Amelia’s 4th birthday party we all went to Happy Hippos in Ormskirk where Amelia ran around with 14 of her friends. Oliver meanwhile had a great time in the ball pool

Amelia has become a bit of a casual gamer on Mummy’s iPhone and Daddy’s Android phone, she’s platform agnostic so far. Her favourite is “Cut The Rope” which whilst playing quite recently she pressed the wrong series of buttons and wiped out all Mummy’s stored games. Mummy was not happy at all. Other favourites of Amelia are Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja.

Oliver likes to have a go on the games too but just doesn’t quite get it yet, he’s more of a Gigglebiz fan.

It was the usual Watkinson Halloween party and on the way we stopped of at Grandad John and Nana June’s house to show off the children and nephew….

Amelia seems intent on following in the footsteps of nana Pat and having her nails painted at every opportunity.

Yes, I was waiting for Amelia to fall flat on her face but sadly she stayed upright. There was the comedy moment of pouring the water out of her wellies but we didn’t manage to film that.

Whilst on our holidays we spent the day at Longleat. A marvellous time was had by all, we rode on a steam train, got attacked by wasps, got ripped off at the food places, took a boat ride, saw Spartacus and met Postman Pat.
